“Her first significant acting job was a guest-starring role in the NBC prime-time drama, ER, which remains one of her favorite roles (“I played a car accident victim who has leukemia. I got to wear a neck brace and nose tubes for the two days I worked.”)”—Dakota Fanning’s wikipedia page
I’m listening to Bromst again just to get a feel for it
From my first impressions I feel as though the album is much more experimental, by using quick loops that make the songs seem very glitchy
Also there is almost no plain voices, almost always are they looped, put through a vocoder, or put through some other strange effects
Many of the songs sound very similar to one another which could be detrimental although I’m not sure this early in the process of digesting this album
Instrumentation sure is spot on and this album is extremely interesting. It’s a quasi-departure from Spiderman of the Rings by bringing in new elements to the songs, while keeping some older ones that allow the listener to feel comfortable
I’ll report back I’m done with the 2nd round
Side note: I personally love that this album is 1 hour and 4 minutes. I can only hope other artists will follow through and release longer albums.
